2017 Regional Community Investments
Andeavor in Action. Take a look at some examples we’re particularly proud of:
South Bay Center for Counseling Thrive LA — Energy Pathways Program
This three-year grant serves low-income men and women, with an emphasis on veterans, in the greater Los Angeles area by providing education to graduate the program as certified process technology operators.
YMCA of Greater Long Beach — Splash Week
To uphold our commitment to public safety, we partnered with the local YMCA to help educate young children on pool, beach and boating safety to keep them safe during water activities.
Catalina Island Conservancy — Kids in Nature Program
For over 14 years, this environmental education program provides hands-on learning opportunities for K—fifth-grade grade students. This grant funded the purchase of a new 4-wheel drive vehicle and allows the conservancy to operate the program free of charge for three years.
Altamed Health Services — Mobile Wellness Unit Support
This investment helps provide access to healthcare for families in need in the Southern California area. The mobile unit provides services such as vaccinations and biometric screenings that promote well-being in the community.
